Monitoring Service Database

Database Details

If you are using an external database, see Database Requirements on page 117. In

you intend to enable SSL communications, see SSL Prerequisites, page 94.

Indicate that the monitoring service should use the same

database as the ActiveMatrix Administrator server.

Default: Checked. If unchecked, the notification server

fields in Database Details on page 137 display.

The driver for the external database.

Default:

org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver.

Database URL The URL of the external database.

Default: jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://localhost:1234/amx.

Username The external database username.

Default: sa.

Password The external database password.

Default: None.

Max

Connections

The maximum number of database connections to allocate.

Default: 5.
